Headaches
A headache is a pain or discomfort in the head, scalp, or neck. It can feel like a throbbing, pressing, or dull ache.

Tension-Type Headaches: Characterised by a dull, aching pain that feels like a tight band around the head. Common causes include stress, muscle tension in the neck and shoulders, and poor posture.
Migraines: Intense, throbbing headaches often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound. Triggers include certain foods, hormonal changes, stress, and lack of sleep.

Cervicogenic Headaches: Originating from issues in the cervical spine (neck), causing pain that radiates to the head. Common causes include poor posture, neck strain, or cervical spine disorders.

Common Causes: Stress, dehydration, poor posture, lack of sleep, eye strain from too much screen time, muscular tension

Post-Concussion Syndrome
This occurs after a concussion (a mild brain injury), leading to ongoing symptoms like headaches, dizziness, and memory problems.

Common Causes: A concussion typically results from a blow to the head, often during sports or accidents.

Cervical Spondylosis
Often called neck arthritis, this condition involves the wear and tear of the cervical spine (neck bones) and can cause stiffness and pain.

Common Causes: It usually results from aging and the natural wear and tear of the spine over time.

Whiplash
Whiplash is an injury caused by a sudden jerking motion of the head, leading to neck pain and stiffness.

Common Causes: It commonly happens during car accidents, especially in rear-end collisions, but can also occur from other types of trauma.

Neck Strain and Sprain
A neck strain or sprain involves damage to the muscles or ligaments in the neck, causing pain and discomfort.

Common Causes: Poor posture, sudden movements, or overuse can lead to strains and sprains.

Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJD)
TMJD affects the jaw joint and muscles controlling jaw movement, leading to pain and difficulty moving the jaw.

Common Causes: Stress, teeth grinding, or misalignment of the jaw can contribute to TMJD.

Bruxism (Teeth Grinding)
Bruxism is the habit of grinding or clenching your teeth, often during sleep, which can cause jaw pain and damage to the teeth.

Common Causes: Stress, anxiety, and misaligned teeth are common triggers for bruxism.

Jaw Pain
Jaw pain can occur in the muscles or joints of the jaw, causing discomfort and difficulty with movements like chewing.
